April 25th

Done With Acadmic Writing I

I finished my English class (Academic Writing I) on Saturday. My next class, Academic Writing II, does not begin until May 2. This means that I have a week free of homework. Maybe now I will have some more time to catch up on some of my projects that have been piling up. Even with a cramped schedule, I was still able to earn an "A" in the class. If I took more than one class at a time, however, my grades would have suffered.

Tagline for today: "I wrote a few children's books, but not on purpose." - Steven Wright

April Fool's

Spring is finally here. The lawns are turning green and the birds are singing. You can imagine my surprise when the radio announce that we could get between three and five inches of rain and snow this weekend. But, as today is April 1, maybe it is just another April Fool's prank. Then again, maybe it is not. A quick check of the National Weather Service's website site shows that the radio report was actually correct.
