So, it looks like we have a new President. Considering how yesterday was Election Day, it is not that surprising. It is also not surprising that Barack Obama won. Looking at just the popular vote, the race could have gone either way. A half a dozen states changed their party affiliations from Republican to Democrat. It is clear that America wants a change. I hope that Obama produces a positive change. Of course, change does not happen overnight.

I do not normally get involved with politics. But, I did watch some of the election coverage last night. Some of the maps were a bit funny. Instead of showing the Democrat symbol for Obama, they showed the Presidential seal. Also, I saw for one state that Obama was currently leading even though he did not have a majority of the votes at the time. But, considering that he ultimately won that state (and the country), maybe someone knew something beforehand. Or, maybe they were just optimistic.
